Who should attend?

Faculty and practitioners from all aspects of the sports and entertainment industry are welcome to contribute abstracts, final papers at the conclusion of the conference, and attend what promises to be an outstanding gathering of minds and social capital at the venue best symbolising the bridge between the worlds in contemporary society. Lawyers, in-house counsel and independent practitioners, arbitrators and mediators, international sport federations representatives and sport firms administrators, Law, Business, and Sport Management Faculty from various academic units, coaches, professional and aspiring professional athletes, parents, and perhaps most importantly the future of the industry, undergraduate and graduate students from all over the world, will render this a memorable event, and a prudent investment by all constituent groups.

Format
30' individual research presentations including discussion, aligned by thematic entity and content coverage.
Duration of sessions submitted under a unifying theme with a Chair will depend on the number of grouped submissions.
75' submitted workshop and discussion panels, keynote panels, and full conference sessions addressing major sport law and business management topics.
Depending on final number of attendees and time allotments, an Open Forum will be considered, timely attending to contemporary issues of interest.
Periodic breaks for snacks and beverages allowing for attendees' interaction, networking, sponsor exhibits, in addition to conference luncheon and banquet.

Materials
Conference handouts and resources will be distributed to attendees on CD/flash drive during the conference.

Online coverage - Web streaming post-conference
There will be online access to the sessions post-conference on a subscription fee-basis, with options for the full conference or select sessions; the Organising Committee is presently exploring bids and several alternative methods for providing interested parties around the world the broadest possible access to the ISLBC sessions.

Language - Translation
The official language of the conference is English. There will be limited simultaneous translation services during the conference for select sessions.

CLE Questions
A representative from a US Law School will be present to answer specific CLE questions.
